Main Media undertook the post-production on ‘Time to Think’ for director Gabi Kent. This film was created to celebrate the public launch of the Open University’s unique archive of voices from all sides of the troubles in Ireland. Made up of both loyalist and republican prisoners, prison officers and the educators who worked with them, the film explores the impact of education in prison and how contact with the OU contributed to change for both individuals and communities in Ireland. The archive is audio only, so we created visuals from hand drawn artwork and contemporary stills to support the atmospheric and powerful recollections contained within the archive.
